John Dahlke

John “Jack” Dahlke, age 77, of Stratford, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in the comfort of his own home.

Jack was born on April 23,1947, in Marshfield, the son of the late John and Emma (Lingel) Dahlke. He attended Edgar High School. After graduating, he enlisted in the Army from 1966 to 1968 and served in Vietnam. On August 22,1970, he married Jane Belanger.

Prior to his retirement, Jack worked as a millwright, the majority of his time with Boldt Construction. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, making firewood and teasing his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Jane; four children: Jeff, Tim (Michelle), Kori (Wally) and Russ (Cheryl); 13 grandchildren: Isabel “Izzy,” Amelia “Mia,” Nick “Snickers,” Ashley “Bugster,” Kaitlyn, Dalten “Fritz,” Jaden “Roi,” Lily “Miss A,” Ronan “Frisco,” Emma “Baby Kitty,” Nicole, Brianna, Jake “Jingles,” and Jackson “See and Do”; and two great-grandchildren: Talia and Ayla “Lala.” He is further survived by two sisters: his twin Janice (Andy) and Diane; two brothers: Jim and Don; brother-in-law, Roger (Kathy) and sisterin-law, Carol (DuWayne). Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Jerry and Patty, brothers-in-law: Richard and Denny; father-in-law, Elmer and mother-in-law, Elsie.

A visitation was held on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home, 211910 State Highway 97, Stratford. A private burial will follow at a later date.
