New store manager announced at Medford County Market

The Medford Cooperative is excited to announce the promotion of Reba Berndt to Store Manager at Medford’s County Market. Berndt has shown a clear path of progression during her 8 years of employment with Medford’s County Market. In addition to her role as Retail Pricing and Promotions Coordinator, she has led several internal initiatives, inspired team members, mentored young managers, and helped develop new retail programs for customers at all store locations.

“Reba has been an excellent leader in many ways for our retail services and will easily transition into her new role as the store manager in Medford,” said Dave Mayville, Director of Retail Services. “She is very detailed and organized, and always has our customers top of mind. We are all very proud of Reba and her accomplishments and look forward to her ‘lead by example’ leadership style into Medford’s County Market as store manager.”

Berndt served 12 years in the US Army Reserve as a Civil Affairs Specialist. She attended NTC in Medford and received her degree and license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She began her career with Medford’s County Market as a cashier in high school. Following high school, Berndt worked as an office manager for a window company in Minnesota. She moved back to the area in 2016 and returned to the organization as cashier/customer service representative. Berndt transitioned to Department Manager in 2022 and was promoted to Retail Pricing & Programs Coordinator in January 2023.
