Found guilty

Michael Floyd, 62, of Medford was found guilty due to a no contest plea of OWI (1st). Charges of operating with a PAC >=.08 <.15 (1st), refuse to take test for intoxication after arrest, and disorderly conduct were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion. Court ordered Floyd to pay $976 in fine and costs, DOT licensure revocation for 7 months, and undergo an alcohol assessment.

Thomas Gaffron, 32, of Medford, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of an amended charge of battery- domestic abuse incident, amended from child abuse - recklessly cause harm. Court orders a withheld sentence and places Gaffron on probation for a period of 2 years. Conditions of probation are to pay the court costs, provide a DNA sample and pay the surcharge, and stay in compliance with the Taylor County Human Services recommendations. All costs totaling $543 are to be paid to the Taylor County Clerk of Courts office in the amount of $25 a month beginning May 15.

Mary Meyer, 40, of Sheboygan, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of an amended charge of disorderly conduct, amended from strangulation and suffocation. Charges of bail jumping - felony, and bail jumping - misdemeanor were dismissed but ready in for sentencing. She was ordered to pay $443.

Jennifer Vendela, 32, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of possession of marijuana. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed on prosector’s motion. She was ordered to pay $263.50.

Pleas entered

Trenton Bunkelman, 17, of Medford, pled not guilty to second degree sexual assault of a child.

Michael Grant, 63, of Medford, pled not guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct - domestic abuse and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.

James Mortensen, 18, of Cameron, pled not guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer.

Jarveus Robinson, 25, pled not guilty to charges of failure to keep vehicle under control, possession of THC, and misdemeanor bail jumping.

Deferred prosecution

A deferred prosecution or sentence was approved for Molitor Milk Hauling of Osseo for failure to maintain holding/ septic tanks.
