Scott A. Knez

Scott A. Knez, 51, Boyd, passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2023, surrounded by family. He had been in the UW-Health University Hospital in Madison, awaiting a heart and liver transplant.

Scott was born in 1972, to parents Dennis and Judy Knez.

He enjoyed camping, riding ATVs, hunting and spending time with family.

Scott was a member of the Boyd Fire Department for 29 years, and was an EMT for 27 years. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by his mother – Judy; siblings – Michael (Paula) Knez and Carrie (Fidencio) Caballero; nephews – Brent, Steven, Brandon, Joey and Kyle; great-nephews – Jace and Hudson; great-niece – Reagan; partner – Cheryl Lewien; her daughter – Natasha Lewien; and granddaughters – Elizabeth and Eva Swanson.

He was preceded in death by his father – Dennis; and brother – Dennis Jr.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, at Abundant Life Pentecostal Church in Thorp. Family and friends are welcome for the visitation before the service, starting at 10 a.m.

Leiser Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cadott, is assisting the family.
