Shop Small Event on November 30
Every year since 2010, the Saturday after Thanksgiving has been designated as Small Business Saturday to counteract Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping promoted by big box retail and ecommerce stores. AbbyColby Crossings Chamber has a way to help attract even more customers to your business on Saturday, Nov. 30. The Chamber has been invited by American Express to act as a Neighborhood Champion of Small Business Saturday. The points below describe the steps your small business can follow to participate. There is no cost to your business for this event.
• If you want to participate, please email info@abbycolbychamber.com or call the chamber at 715-223-8509 no later than November 6, in order to be included in the advertisement.
• We expect to receive promotional items like tote bags, posters, stickers, etc. by mid-November. Please email info@abbycolbychamber. com by November 20, with an estimate of how many items you would like, and we’ll do our best to get these distributed.
• We will distribute registration slips and bags for shoppers to register at participating stores for a $100 Chamber gift certificate sponsored by the Chamber. If your business also gives an item away, we will draw for your gift first and then collect all registrations from all stores for the $100
