Swimmers (l. to r.) Layla Petersen, Kodi Rappe, Chiara D’Arienzo, Sydney Sperl and Chelsea Gebauer will represent the Medford Raiders in the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relays at Friday’s WIAA Division 2 state championships at the Waukesha South Natatorium. Paxton Rothmeier, shown here making a cut on a big run during Medford’s 43-13 win over Rhinelander Oct. 10, was an easy choice as the 2024 GNC Offensive Player of the Year after leading the state in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns this fall.
