NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING FOR THE TOWN OF HALSEY Notice is hereby given that on Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at the Halsey Town Hall, a public hearing on the proposed 2024 budget will be held. The proposed budget is available for inspection by appointment only at the clerk’s house by calling 715-297-9363. A budget summary is posted at the Town Hall, Town Shop and Balz Inn. NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING Immediately following the completion of the budget hearing, there will be a special town meeting to 1) Approve the 2023 town tax levy to be collected in 2024 pursuant to Section 30.10(1)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes. 2) To approve the total 2024 highway expenditures pursuant to Section 82.03 of WI Statutes. 3) To approve the debt service addition of $40,000 to the levy NOTICE OF TOWN BOARD MEETING Immediately following the completion of the special town meeting, the regular monthly board will be held, and adoption of the 2024 budget will take place.
