April 12 The Spencer FFA will host an Easter egg hunt at the Spencer Village Park, 105 Park St., at 10 a.m. Bring your own basket. The hunt will be held at school if the weather is poor. Check “Spencer FFA Chapter” Facebook page for updates. April 10-13 The Spencer Kids Group will host their 13th annual Spring Fever Dance from 7-11 p.m., at the Olde Village Hall, 117 E. Clark St. Doors open at 6 p.m. Advance tickets are available for $20 from Spencer Kids Group, Nutz Deep II, Little Club, and My Brother’s Place, or at the door for $25. There will be live music by “Ember,” prize drawings, and much more. April 19 The Neillsville Area Players and Neillsville High School will perform “High School Musical,” at the school auditorium at 7 p.m. on the 10th, 11th, and 12th; and 2 p.m. on the 13th. Tickets $15 adults, $10 students. There will be an Easter egg hunt at the Granton School playground, 217 N Main St., at 11 a.m. sharp. For children preschool—third grade. If it rains, it will be held in the library. April 13 April 11 April 22 The Loyal/Greenwood Red Hats will be going to “High School Musical” at the Neillsville High School at 2 p.m., and Apple Valley after the performance. Meet at Loyal City Hall parking lot at 1 p.m. to car pool. To join this trip, call Marlene at 715-267-6227 or Marilyn at 715-2558416. The Clark County Extension will be holding PAT (Private Applicator Training) from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Clark County Courthouse, Neillsville. Pre-registration and preordering of the manual is required at: patstore.wisc.edu/ secure/home. This is for landowners who wish to spray their own crops. (Community Outreach Meal for Everyone) from 5-6 p.m. Menu includes ham and scalloped potatoes, peas and carrots, fruit salad, bread, and assorted bars. April 14 and 23 The Spencer Area Historical Museum, 107 E. Clark St., will be open to the public from 6:30-8 p.m. April 11 and 18 April 23 April 16 The Loyal United Methodist Church, 108 E. South St., will have its annual Spring Salad Luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Adults $10, kids under 12 $3. The Loyal American Legion Post 175, 302 N. Union St., will have a Lenten fish fry from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Menu includes your choice of deep fried or baked fish and/or shrimp, baked potato, French fries or Katy’s potato salad, salad bar, bun, and coffee/milk. The Greenwood Area Food Pantry will be open from 35:30 p.m. at 302 N. Main St., Greenwood, for anyone in need of assistance.
