October 11-12 October 18 The “Power of Planning for the Future” estate planning seminar is to be held at the Loyal High School gym at 514. W. Central Street in Loyal. The event will start with lunch at 12 p.m., followed by a presentation at 12:30 p.m. RSVP by Oct. 15 at clarkccf.org or by calling 715-937-6167. The Highground Veterans Memorial Park, W7031 Ridge Road, Neillsville, will host fall cleanup days. Volunteers welcome. Contact 715-743-4224. The Greenwood American Legion Post 238 will hold a fish fry from 4-7 p.m. at the Greenwood American Legion Hall at 108 S. Main Street. October 11-12, 18-19 October 26 October 19 The School District of Spencer will host a Haunted Forest from 5-9 p.m. There will be a “PG” trail for younger children, and a “PG-13” trail for the older students. The Granton FFA will hold its annual Haunted Forest at the Granton School Forest from 7-10 p.m. with the theme “Where Nightmares Perform Under the Big Top!” The Haunted Forest will have a $10 admission and is restricted to ages 12 and up. Judging for the Loyal Area Chamber of Commerce fall decorating contest will be held. Prizes will go to the first through third place winners of the contest. October 27 October 20 St. John’s Lutheran Church, 210167 Highway 13, Spencer, will host “Trunk or Treat” from 2-4 p.m. October 13 Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 110 W. Begley St., Greenwood, will have a drive-thru only Swedish Meatball Dinner for $12, with serving from 11 a.m. until gone. October 31 The 17th fall Polka Jam will be held from noon-5 p.m. at the Country Aire Bar & Banquet Hall, 118600 Cty. Rd. P, Stratford. Public welcome. Free admission.
