Every week October 9 October 18 The Greenwood American Legion Post 238 will hold a fish fry from 4-7 p.m. at the Greenwood American Legion Hall at 108 S. Main Street. The Loyal Community Food Pantry at 132 N. Main St. will be open on Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesdays from 2:30-5 p.m., and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-noon. For more info, call 715-503-1071. The Clark County Extension will host a fall pasture walk from 10 a.m.-2 p..m at the Joseph and Emma Nolt farm, W6562 Popple River Rd., Greenwood. Guest speakers will cover topics and promote discussion on grazing performance in Holsteins, pasture fertility, monthly pasture establishment, land and fencing systems. October 19 October 4 Judging for the Loyal Area Chamber of Commerce fall decorating contest will be held. Prizes will go to the first through third place winners of the contest. October 11-12, 18-19 October 20 October 5 Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 110 W. Begley St., Greenwood, will have a drive-thru only Swedish Meatball Dinner for $12, with serving from 11 a.m. until gone. The Highground will host a legacy stone ceremony and a fall bake sale. The Granton FFA will hold its annual Haunted Forest at the Granton School Forest from 7-10 p.m. with the theme “Where Nightmares Perform Under the Big Top!” The Haunted Forest will have a $10 admission and is restricted to ages 12 and up. October 5 October 23 The Loyal Area Historical Society’s quarterly meeting will be held at 3 p.m. at the museum. All are welcome. The Spencer Area Historical Museum at 117 E. Clark Street will be open to the public from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. October 13 October 5-6 October 24 The 17th fall Polka Jam will be held from noon-5 p.m. at the Country Aire Bar & Banquet Hall, 118600 Cty.
