FFA members show their spirit On Sept. 18, 17 Loyal FFA memberstraveledtoThorp High School for the annual Fall Leadership Workshop (FLW). Loyal High School is part of Section 7 for FFA. FLW is always hosted at the home of the section’s state officer. This year the Section 7 state officer is Luke Schraufnagel. While at the workshop, officers met with other officers from the area to prepare for the year ahead and discuss position responsibilities. Other members attend sessions on how to support agriculture, teamwork and goal setting, and to learn more about FFA! This event was one of the largest Fall Leadership Workshops, with over 400 FFA members in attendance! All the chapters in attendance compete to earn the “Spirit Stick,” an item given to the chapter with the most enthusiasm and participation throughout the night.
