Medford Youth Hockey hosted its 2025 Biscuit Battle at the Simek Recreation Center Jan. 24-26 with Bantam and Pee Wee A level teams competing. The Medford Bulldogs reached both championship games. The Medford Bantams and Rice Lake tied in their title game with Rice Lake winning the three-player shootout. The team is coached by Stan Strama, Ryan Lemke and Jason Rappe and includes Taytum Brahmer, Xander Branowitzer, Natalyn Dixon, Crandel Harder, Luke Hartl, Brantly Kasparek, Lukas Koepke, Kendra Krueger, Bella Lemke, Max Losiewicz, Bailey Olwell, Dawson Rappe, Cashton Reis, Mariah Salzer, Gracie Strama and Stanley Thums. Black River Falls placed third and Waupaca was fourth.
