160577 • wnaxlp NOTICE Village of Cadott Resolution 2024-9 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUOUS BIENNIAL INCREASE OF THE SEWER RATES OF THE VILLAGE OF CADOTT SANITATION DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Village of Cadott, Chippewa County, Wisconsin, (the “municipality”) owns and operates the Cadott Water Utility (the “utility”), as a public utility; and WHEREAS, the municipality provides sewer utility for its residents to protect the health, safety and welfare of its residents; and WHEREAS, continued public ownership, operation and management of the wastewater systems are the most responsible way for the Village of Cadott to ensure that every resident has access to wastewater service; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase the rates and charges for the services provided, by the sewer systems, in order to collect sufficient revenues to pay increased costs associated with the operation and maintenance of the system; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the village board, of the Village of Cadott, approves a continuous biennial increase (every odd year on Jan. 1) on the Sewer Systems Fixed and Usage Rates, with the increase of three percent (3%); and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the village board, of the Village of Cadott, approves continuous biennial three percent (3%) rate increases on both Fixed and Usage Rates, starting Jan. 1, 2025.
