Kuehni read, by title only (first reading), Ordinance 2024-6 – an ordinance to adopt the amended Village of Cadott Comprehensive Plan 2010-30, Chippewa County, Wisconsin – amended attachments. A motion was made by Duncan and seconded by Seeley, to approve suspending the second reading of Ordinance 2024-6. MC. Diana Mackie, “Cookie” Kaste and Samma Johnson were present, to discuss a budget increase from the village, for the library. The county cut the library aid of $8,395. With Cornell joining the consortium, Cadott lost patrons, causing a cut on the library aid for Cadott. Great for our patrons and Cornell, but bad for the bottom line circulation of products. The village board will review all budget information during the budget workshops. A motion was made by Seeley and seconded by Sime, to approve moving forward, with the electrical rate case, through the PSC, with Ehlers. MC.
