Flater and Debbi Readinger received WASB recognitions for their school board involvement. Plan to Win: Joy Webster presented to the board an overview of the 4K education process. The 4K program includes activities to work on gross motor skills, story time and social emotional learning. Mr. Lindau provided the board with a 2024-25 budget projection. AGR Mid-Year report: Mr. Stalheim presented the mid-year AGR report. He discussed that professional development was adjusted to better meet students’ needs to help improve student performance. Motion by Readinger and seconded by Flater, to approve the mid-year AGR report. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Morfoot and seconded by Engel, to approve the revision to Policy 5330 – administration of medication/emergency care to include Narcan acquisition and maintenance. Motion carried unanimously. No action taken on ECCP/SCN summer courses, as there were no applications. Motion by Morfoot and seconded by Readinger, to approve the 2024-25 CESA services contract. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Engel and seconded by Readinger, to approve the one-year athletic trainer agreement, with Cody Goessl, effective 2/26/24. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Morfoot and seconded by Readinger, to approve the Hazardous Transportation Plan that will be sent to the DPI. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Flater and seconded by Readinger, to recommend Clifton Larson Allen’s lowest audit bid, for a three-year audit engagement. Motion carried unanimously.
