Voters lined up at registration check-in stations at Medford City Hall Tuesday morning before receiving their ballots. Based on voter registrations as of November 1, the county saw a high turnout with more than 96% of registered voters heading to the polls. The presidential race was a major draw across the country, but locally there were assembly races and Medford school district voters were asked to weigh in on a school referendum vote and state assembly races. At the October 30 county board session, supervisors approved a resolution expressing appreciation to Jody Jochimsen for his 34 years of service to the county.
