Rebecca Lewis-Pankratz spoke to area residents of Taylor County at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford on February 22 about the affect that poverty can have on individuals, families, and neighborhoods as part of a demonstration for Core Community, an organization dedicated to teaching communities how to uplift and support those who are most affected. The majority of the funds were raised at Our Lady of Perpetual Help’s Ribfest in October and Veteran’s Day breakfast.
