Person of interest named in double homicide
April 12, 2025 — Law enforcement have identified a 15-year-old Rib Lake male as a person of interest in the deaths of a town of Pershing couple.
On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at approximately 10:00 PM, the Taylor County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center received a 911 call requesting emergency medical services at a residence located in the 14000 block of County Road M in the Town of Pershing, Taylor County for two severely injured adults that were located inside the residence.
Taylor County Deputies, along with Taylor County EMS services, were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, deputies discovered two deceased adults located inside the residence.
Due to investigative efforts, it was learned that a person of interest was developed. The person of interest was identified as Kadyn D. Hadden DOB 06/25/09. Based on information collected thus far, law enforcement is encouraging the public to immediately call 9-1-1 if they believe they observed Kadyn D. Hadden or the vehicle he was reported to be operating. The vehicle was identified as a 2012 Chevrolet Impala, silver in color, bearing WI registration ASW-2781.
