April 13, 2025 -- The suspect in the double murder of the a town of Pershing couple was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Price County. According to Taylor County Sheriff Corey Dassow, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at approximately 12:40 PM, law enforcement personnel located the silver in color 2012 Chevrolet Impala {Wisconsin registration ASW-2781) on private property in Price County. Upon contact with the vehicle, a deceased male subject was located inside. The male subject was positively identified as: Kadyn D. Hadden, DOB 06/25/09, the person of interest in the ongoing death investigation. Preliminary investigation indicates that Kadyn died as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Investigative efforts up to Saturday date including recent autopsy findings, indicate that the death of Josh R. Mann, DOB 08/21/80 and Rebecca L. Mann, DOB 05/06/81 was the result of a homicide that occurred at their residence on County Road M in the Town of Pershing, Taylor County. Furthermore, investigation has revealed that Kadyn Hadden is responsible for the death of Josh and Rebecca Mann and acted alone during the homicide. On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at approximately 10:00 PM, the Taylor County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center received a 911 call requesting emergency medical services at a residence located in the 14000 block of County Road M in the Town of Pershing, Taylor County for two severely injured adults that were located inside the residence. Taylor County Deputies, along with Taylor County EMS services, were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, deputies discovered two deceased adults located inside the residence. Due to investigative efforts, it was learned that a person of interest was developed. The person of interest was identified as Kadyn D. Hadden DOB 06/25/09. Based on information collected thus far, law enforcement is encouraging the public to immediately call 9-1-1 if they believe they observed Kadyn D. Hadden or the vehicle he was reported to be operating. The vehicle was identified as a 2012 Chevrolet Impala, silver in color, bearing WI registration ASW-2781.
