Dolores was born on April 6, 1928, to John V. and Minnie D. (Storbeck) Gebert in Chicago, Ill. She was united in marriage to Francis J. Seubert on May 29, 1945 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Stetsonville. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1992.
Dolores, along with her husband, Francis, owned and operated milk trucks and delivered milk to the Medford creamery from 1945-1956. They had their own spray painting business and also raised mink on their family farm in Dorchester. Together they built a thriving business. In 1952 they established Seubert Calf Ranches. Delores and her family bought, fed, transported and sold calves throughout the United States with exports to Europe. Dolores still maintained part ownership of the family business to date.
Dolores was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and the Rosary Alter Society. She enjoyed music and playing the organ. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers, plants and watching the birds and feeding the fish, ducks and geese on her pond in her backyard. She took pride in her yard with many hours of mowing lawn until age 90. Her time was also donated mowing at St. Louis Church.
Most importantly, Dolores loved and cherished her family and was known as the family historian. She enjoyed sharing countless life experiences with family and friends.
Dolores is survived by her son, Terry (Sherry) Seubert of Dorchester; four grandsons, Michael of Cecil, Patrick (Julie Fry) of Winston-Salem, N.C., Steven (Kristi) of Dorchester and Robert of Dorchester; ten great-grandchildren, Colton, Hailie, Dallas, Marquette, Phoenix, Riley, Caden, Paige, Isaac, and Zachary.
