Found guilty

Kevin Carter, 66, of Prentice, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of OWI (1st) and was ordered to pay $1,145.50, have an ignition interlock device installed, DOT license revocation for 7 months and undergo an alcohol assessment. A charge of operating with a PAC >= .15 (1st) was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion. He was also found guilty due to a no contest plea of possess open intoxicants in motor vehicle - driver and was order to pay $271.50.

Michael Leggett, 27, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of operating an ATV without valid drivers license and was ordered to pay $200.50. Charges of operating an ATV between midnight and 6 a.m. and operating an ATV without insurance were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Gene Pawlak, 64, of Kimberly, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of operating without a valid drivers license, amended from operating while revoked (revoked due to alcohol/controlled substance/refusal) and was ordered to pay $267.50. He was also found guilty due to a no contest plea of hunting with improper license and was ordered to pay $240.90. A charged of discharging a firearm within 100 yards of a building was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Jason Lindekugel, 48, of Marshfield, was found guilty at a court trial of reckless driving-endanger safety for an event that occurred on July 13, 2024. Court ordered Lindekugel to pay $999.50, a payment plan of $100/month beginning on April 1, 2025.

Pleas entered

Soren Wanta, 34, of Wausau, pled not guilty to disorderly conduct - domestic abuse, possession of THC, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A status hearing is scheduled for May 7 at 2 p.m.

Donovan Acker, 22, of Sparta, pled not guilty to failure to keep vehicle under control, non-registration of vehicle - auto <10,000 lbs., and OWI (2nd). A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9 a.m. on March 20.

Kenneth Kirkwood, 36, of Rib Lake, pled not guilty to possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on March 20.

Robert Monroe, 35, of Dorchester, pled not guilty to possession of THC. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. on April 8.

Efrain Torres Trejo, 37, of Colby pled not guilty to operating without a valid license (3rd within 3 years). A pretrial conference is scheduled for 1p.m. on June 5.

Travis Trudeau, 30, of Withee, pled not guilty to operation while revoked (revoked due to alcohol/controlled substance/refusal). A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on April 2.

Wayne Williamson, 36, of Medford, pled not guilty to battery and disorderly conduct - domestic abuse. A pretrial conference is scheduled for 11:30 p.m. on April 8 and a status hearing is scheduled for April 29 at 10:30 a.m.

Dismissed

A charge of operating without a valid license (2nd within three years) was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion against Melvin Bustamante Avila, 35, of Park Falls.
