R EPORTS One vehicle crashes
On January 25, at 12 p.m., a vehicle operated by Andrew Krueger, 18, of Phillips, was traveling southbound on Hwy 13 in the town of Medford, while negotiating the curve just north of Mulberry Lane. The driver’s side front tire disconnected from the rim causing the vehicle to swerve. The driver was unable to stop due to the snowy conditions and mounted the southwestern curb and struck the detached garage owned by Lisa Hince, of Medford, at N4583 Hwy 13. The vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. Krueger was cited for non-registration of auto.
On January 22, at 10:50 p.m., a vehicle operated by Cole Pernsteiner, 17, of Medford, was traveling northbound on Hwy 13 near the intersection of Hwy 13 and Mulberry Lane. While attempting to negotiate an eastbound curve, the driver lost control of the vehicle and drove into the east ditch of Hwy 13. While in the east ditch, the vehicle drove over a private driveway. This caused the vehicle to roll over onto its roof, rolling an unknown number of times side over side before coming to a rest facing south west along the south ditch of Hwy 13. The vehicle sustained disabling damage.
Deer related crashes
On January 25, at 10:08 p.m., a vehicle operated by Mark Koepke, 42, of Abbotsford, struck a deer while eastbound on CTH O in the town of Little Black. The vehicle sustained functional damage.
On January 22, at 6:15 p.m., a vehicle operated by Jason Kayhart, 48, of Abbotsford, struck a deer while traveling westbound on CTH A in the town of Little Black. The vehicle sustained functional damage.
