Judith “Judy” A. Rusnak

1946-2025

Judith “Judy” A. Rusnak, age 78, of Rib Lake, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025, at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield. Judy was born in Park Falls, on Aug. 11, 1946, to the late John and Marion (Eisner) Hoefferle. She was married to Lawrence “Larry” “Butch” Rusnak, Sr., on Oct. 3, 1964, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Rib Lake; he passed away on Oct. 30, 2005.

Judy and Larry farmed for a short period of time and later worked at the Rib Lake Shoe Factory and Weathershield. She enjoyed family cookouts, barbequed chicken on the grill was her favorite! Judy loved fishing with her children when they were younger, watching the birds, embroidery, crocheting, and her many trips to the casino with her husband, family, and friends.

Survivors include her sons, Larry (Judy) Rusnak, of Rib Lake, and James (Alisa) Rusnak, of Medford; her daughter, Julie (Ray) Judnic, of Medford; her brothers, Don (Donna) Hoefferle, Gary (Gayle) Hoefferle, and Ron (Wendi) Hoefferle; her sisters, Janet (Dave) Hemminger, and Donna (Scott) Wojcik; her sisterin- law, Doris Kopp; her grandchildren, Jesse (Macie) Judnic, Jordy (Megan) Judnic, Josh Judnic, Greg Timm, Samantha (Brandon) Miller, Tana Marzinske, and Sierra Rusnak. She is further survived by her great-grandchildren, Parker, Taytum, Josie, Jameson, Lindsey, Addison, Talon, Eric, Eliza, Callie, Arianna, and Octavia; in addition to many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marion; her husband, Larry; her stepfather, Frank Yanko; and her brothers, Leonard and James Hoefferle.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake, at 11 a.m. Fr. Julian officiated. The family received friends for visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at the Lake View Cemetery. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
