John Lange of Nicolet Bank presented a donation from the Nicolet Bank Foundation to the SOAR program at Medford Area Public Schools for the meals in a backpack program. Students in the SOAR program plan and package meal items in bags for the families of students in area schools to take home and have food over the weekend. More than 50 families are served by the project. Donations will be used to pay for food supplies for the bags. The Rib Lake School district is moving forward with plans to bring the behind the wheel instruction in-house with approval to purchase a vehicle for that and other district use.
