Kevin Danen

1978-2024

Kevin Danen of Eau Claire passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Centennial Community Center in Stetsonville. Kevin was born Sept. 25, 1978 in Medford to Steve and Michelle (Lindberg) Danen. He graduated from Medford Area Senior High in 1997. After working at Weather Shield and Liberty Homes, Kevin moved to Eau Claire where he started work at Indoor Comfort, Inc. in Aug. 2000. Kevin met Laurie Wagner at the Centennial Community Center in Stetsonville where they later got married on Oct. 4, 2003. They would start building their life together in Eau Claire with their children.

Kevin flourished in the heating and air conditioning business. In Aug. 2020, he purchased the company. He helped keep many homes in the area warm in winter and cool in summer. Both his son Cody and daughter Alexis worked with Kevin.

He enjoyed outdoor activities, hunting, camping and boating with family and friends and watching the kids play sports when they were growing up. Family was very important to him.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Laurie of Eau Claire; his children, Ciera Danen of Milwaukee, Alexis (Bren) Danen of Chippewa Falls and Cody Danen of Dover, Del.; his parents, Steve and Michelle of Medford; his brother, Jason (Amanda Evansburg) Danen of Chatham, N.J.; his mother-in-law, Connie Wagner of Medford; sister-in-law, Victoria (Brent) Stewart of Thorp; brothers-in-law, Richard Wagner of Medford, Bill (Suzanna) Wagner of Babcock, and Jimmy (Kelly) Millikin of Medford; his trusted companion Cooper; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Preceding him in death is his father-in-law, Wayne Wagner.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin’s name can be given to the family for a future designation.
