Aspirus hospitals recognized for quality, safety

Aspirus Health is pleased to announce that several of its hospitals have been recognized as Top Performers in the Wisconsin Hospital Association’s (WHA) CheckPoint program. These hospitals earned recognition for their efforts in patient safety, quality improvement, and delivering high standards of care. This honor underscores Aspirus' ongoing commitment to enhancing patient outcomes and improving health care services across the region.

The WHA CheckPoint program, established in 2004, is the first statewide, voluntary hospital quality reporting initiative in the United States. It serves as a critical tool for benchmarking clinical performance and sharing best practices among Wisconsin hospitals. Aspirus Health’s recognition through this program highlights its dedication to quality care and patient safety.

• Aspirus Wausau Hospital These hospitals demonstrated excellence across key categories, including Mortality-Conditions and Procedures, Patient Safety for all Patients and Patients with Surgery, Patient Experience, Readmissions, and Infection Control.
