Amanda Lange urges support of Medford referendum

I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for the Medford Area School District Referendum on November 5th, and to urge you to vote “yes” for the future of both our schools and our community.

Investing in our schools is an investment in our collective future. The Medford School District has worked tirelessly to create an environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Now, it’s our turn to step up and support the district as it continues to prioritize the success and well-being of its students.

The proposed referendum aims to address critical needs within our schools, including insufficient technology and necessary renovations to aging infrastructure. By approving this measure, we can ensure that our students have access to the resources they need to succeed in an increasingly competitive world. Modern classrooms equipped with the latest technology foster an environment conducive to learning, encouraging innovation and critical thinking. By voting “Yes,” we acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our district and its educators and provide them with the tools necessary to thrive and inspire our students.

As someone who has personally toured prospective professionals around our town, I can attest that the first thing many ask to see is our schools. Without a vibrant, forward-thinking school district, businesses in Medford will struggle to attract and retain the skilled professionals necessary to keep our community flourishing.

Supporting education goes beyond the classroom. A well-educated population is more likely to be civically engaged, contributing positively to the growth and cohesion of the community.
