George Cason
1952-2024
George Cason, 72, of Jump River, passed away unexpectedly at his home surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024. George was born on Aug. 13, 1952 in Bucks County, Pa. to James and Louise Cason. He grew up in Wildwood, Fla., where he enjoyed air boating and hunting gators, frogs, and wild boar. After hauling cattle and watermelons to Wisconsin, he decided to move there where he then met his “bride” Kristine Biller. They married on Aug. 14, 1982 and resided in Jump River. Together they raised two daughters and farmed for over 40 years before health problems drove them to quit farming. Some of his lifelong hobbies included snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, spending time with his family, and watching football. In more recent years you could find him driving his gator around, scrolling TikTok and watching his grandkids.
He is survived by his “bride” Kristine Cason of Jump River; his two daughters, Deana Cason (Justin Goebel) of Jump River and Tiffany Noel (Stephen Noel) of Tony; two grandkids, Konnor and Kora Schueller, and sister Linda of Tenn. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Louise Cason; in-laws, Harold and June Biller; and four siblings, Charlie, BethAnn, Pat, and CarolAnn.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Deacon Craig Voldberg officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
