Found guilty

John Brandenburg, 68, of Sheldon, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of disorderly conduct, amended from battery. He was ordered to pay $330.50.

Cory Carstensen, 30, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of speeding in 55 mph zones (16-19 mph) amended from speeding in 55 mph zone (20-24 mph) and was ordered to pay $200.50.

Brayan Montoya Castro, 20, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of operating a motor vehicle without insurance and was ordered to pay $200.50. He was also found guilty due to a no contest plea of operating without carrying a licenses amended from operating without a valid license (2nd within 3 years) and was ordered to pay $393.50.

Keith Rictor, 27, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of resisting/obstructing an officer as an ordinance violation, amended from misdemeanor resisting/ obstruction an officer and was ordered to pay $582.50.

Christine Schreiner, 53, of East Bethel, Minn. was found guilty due to a no contest plea of speeding in 55 mph zones (16-19 mph) amended from exceeding speed zones (25-20 mph) and was ordered to pay $200.50.

Brent Sommer, 19, of Ogema, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of underage drinking - possess 17-20 (2nd) and was ordered to pay $389.50 and have DOT license suspended for 9 months.

Jeremy Vesnefsky, 48, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of disorderly conduct as an ordinance violation amended from misdemeanor disorderly conduct and was ordered to pay $330.50.

Kenneth Vesnefsky, 74, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of disorderly conduct as an ordinance violation amended from misdemeanor battery and was ordered to pay $330.50.

Travis Warner, 35, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of vehicle operator flee/elude officer. Court orders a straight sentence consisting of 9 months in the Taylor County Jail with Huber privileges and good time, $100 fine plus court costs, DNA sample and pay the surcharge, repay the towing bill of $335 to the Medford Police Department. Jail is to begin no later than December 11 at 4:30 p.m.. Costs will be added to his current payment plan of $100 a month with the next payment due October 15. Payments are to increase to $150 a month beginning January 15, 2025. Fine, costs and repayment total $989.

Wayne Williamson, 65, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of OWI (1st). A charge of operating wth PAC >=.15 (1st) was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion. Williamson was ordered to pay $1,082.50, in addition an ignition interlock device was ordered, his DOT license was revoked for 7 months, must attend a victim impact panel, and undergo an alcohol and other drug assessment.

Plea entered

Taylor Mesner, 24, of Gilman, pled not guilty to battery or threat to judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer.

Dismissed

A charge of permitting unauthorized person to drive against Hunter Bernitt, 38, of Medford, was dismissed on prosecutors motion.

A charge of trespassing against Beth Wichlacz, 38, of Medford was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.
