Charles “Chuck” Oluf Anderson, 74, of the village of Stetsonville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Hope Hospice after a 3 year battle with cancer. A service for Chuck will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024 at the Centennial Hall in Stetsonville, with Pastor Dan Esterline officiating. Visitation will take place at the Centennial Hall on Sunday, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. A celebration of life will take place following the service. Gabriel and Brock Anderson will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Chuck was born on March 22, 1950 to Norman T. and Marie (Clarkson) Anderson in Medford. On June 14, 1975 he married Sherry Jochimsen.

Chuck worked on farms and worked for Ivan Bootzin Feed Mill. He fixed fishing reels and had a chimney sweep business (for 10 years) all while working for Hurd Millwork for 30 plus years. He retired in April of 2012. He owned and operated Chuck’s Lawn Mowing business for 16 years. He also ground stumps for MBS.

Chuck enjoyed fast cars in his younger years, motorcycle rides, gardening flowers (especially roses), traveling, fishing with his kids and grandchildren, playing cards, making trips to the casino, camping, side-by-side adventures, trying new foods and cooking. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Sherry, of 49 years; children, TJ Anderson of Stetsonville, Sean (Nicole) Anderson of Medford and Amber (Jacob) Ulwelling of Durand; six grandchildren, Gabriel, Brock, BraeLyn Anderson and Etta, Henry, and Miles Ulwelling.

Chuck is further survived by his sisters, Shirley (Richard) Verdone, Linda (Randy) Sackmann, Dawn (David) Wild; and one brother-in-law, James Kavanagh, and many family members and friends.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Roger, John, and Dennis; and one sister, Esther.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given to the family for a future designation.
