The 82nd annual Spirit – Hill – Ogema 4-H Fair was held at the Spirit Town Hall Friday and Saturday, August 16 & 17. Twenty-six 4-Hers from the Hillbillies, Happy Hoboes, Restless Rascals, and Hamburg Hawks clubs exhibited over 300 entries. More than twenty volunteers served as department superintendents and judges at the fair. Spirit Historical Society members offered tours of Our Yesterday House throughout the day Saturday. Many community members viewed the indoor exhibits, watched the live animal judging, and enjoyed the brat fry style lunch along with popcorn and ice cream served up by 4-H club members and their parents. Adults and children participated in numerous afternoon games.

An evening program included entertaining skits from the participating 4-H clubs, presentation of trophies and acknowledgement of merit winners, and announcements of game winners. Reigning queen Chloe Cummings crowned Hamburg Hawks member Derek Schult, son of Scott and Colleen Schult, the 2024 Spirit – Hill – Ogema 4-H Fair King.

The 2025 fair will be held August 15 and 16. For more fair history or to view additional photos visit the fair website: https://sites.google.com/site/ spirithillogema4hfair/ or find the fair on facebook.
