Kathryn Behnke, 33, of Medford, was found guilty due to no contest pleas of disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and battery (domestic abuse). A charge of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety was dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes. Court orders a withheld sentence and places the defendant on probation for a period of one (1) year with the following conditions: Payment of court costs on each count; DNA sample and surcharge fee on each count; Domestic Abuse surcharge fee on each count; letter of apology to the victim (due within 30 days of sentencing, to be preapproved by probation), counseling as deemed necessary by probation; repayment of balance still owing on court-appointed attorney of $785.00. Total financial obligations ($1,891.00) shall be paid to the Taylor County Clerk of Court's office. Defendant's payment plan shall be increased to $150/month with payments still due on the 15th of each month.

Mikayla Fellenz, 26, of Rib Lake, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of battery (domestic abuse) and to bail jumping - misdemeanor. Charges of bail jumping - felony and neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur) were dismissed and read in for sentencing purposes. Court orders a withheld sentence and places the defendant on probation for two years with the following conditions: Court costs on each count, DNA sample and surcharge fee on each count, letter of apology to the victim (due within 30 days of sentencing to be preapproved by the probation agent before delivering to the victim), AODA and follow through with all treatment recommendations, counseling as deemed necessary by the probation agent. Court obligations owing comes to $986. Defendant shall begin making monthly payments of $75 starting on October 3. There is 1 day sentence credit if probation is revoked.

Sue Petersen, 54, of Rib Lake, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of possession of THC and to a charge of receiving or concealing stolen property (<= $2,500) — as a party to a crime. A charge of possess drug paraphernalia was dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes. Court orders the defendant to pay a $100 fine plus court costs and provide a DNA sample and pay the surcharge fee. Total obligations in the drug paraphernalia charge are $589. For the remaining charges, court orders the defendant to pay a $100 fine plus court costs and provide a DNA sample and pay the surcharge fee. Combined obligations equal $1,262.50. Defendant shall make all payments to the Taylor County Clerk of Court's office by way of monthly payments of $50 commencing on October 1.

Joshua Schultz, 41, of Gilman, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of disorderly conduct (domestic abuse). Court orders a withheld sentence and places the defendant on probation for a period of 18 months with the following conditions: Payment of court costs, DNA sample and surcharge fee, Domestic Abuse surcharge fee, letter of apology to the victim (due within 30 days from sentencing, to be preapproved by probation), follow through with any treatment recommendations from recent AODA (or follow up AODA at probation's discretion), counseling as deemed necessary by probation, defendant must maintain absolute sobriety. Financial obligations total $553 and shall be made payable to the Clerk of Court's Office by way of monthly payments in the amount of $20 commencing on October 1. Sentence credit of 3 days if defendant is revoked from probation.

Brian Stanton, 33, of Unity, was found guilty due to no contest pleas of possession of THC amended from possess with intent to deliver THC (<=200 grams) and of possessing drug paraphernalia. Court orders a $100 fine plus court costs on each count; DNA sample and surcharge fee on each count; 30 days in the county jail with good time and Huber privileges granted, to report no later than November 10 at 4:30 p.m. Defendant may serve his jail time in another county at no cost to Taylor County and arrangements are made solely by the defendant. Defendant shall set up a payment plan with the Taylor County Clerk of Court's office at the rate of $50/week starting on September 13 and continue each Friday thereafter.

Blaine Stevens, 34 of Withee, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of OWI (2nd). A charge of operating with a PAC (2nd) was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion. A charge of refuse to take a test for intoxication after arrest was dismissed on court’s motion. Court orders a fine of $1,592.00, provide a DNA sample, 15 days of county jail with Huber privileges and good time to begin no later than October 10 at 4:30 p.m., 13 month driver's license revocation, ignition interlock device for 12 months, AODA and follow through with the driver safety plan, and pay the $33 blood draw fee. All costs are to be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Court’s office in the amount of $100 a month beginning September 10.

Court orders the defendant pay a $100 fine plus court costs, DNA sample and payment of surcharge fee, totaling $589. The defendant shall make all payments to the Taylor County Clerk of Court's Office by way of monthly payments of $50 starting on October 1.

Cristopher Gubser, 19, of Madison, was found guilty of battery due to a no contest plea and was ordered to pay $263.50. A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

A charge of fraud against financial institution (value exceeds $500 but does not exceed $10,000) was dismissed against Diamond Jones, 31, of Atlanta, Ga.

On September 9, a divorce was granted to Amy Jo Brunsvold of Thorp and Chad Matthew Brunsvold of Thorp.
