Then after 20 years of working at Uniroyal, she went back to CVTC to obtain her degree in computer programming which she greatly enjoyed. She was later employed at MI Software in Eleva for 15 years. Donna was very much a lover of horses and was involved with the Sunny Valley 4-H Club in its early years. She enjoyed horseback riding and her kennels (Cedarwood Kennels) where she raised and showed Collies and Labradors. Donna loved to travel and took many trips across the United States and eventually made it to Europe. She was an avid bowler for many years until health concerns required her to slow down. Donna loved puzzles and was very much instrumental in starting Solberg/Anderson Family Trees.
Donna and James divorced in 2001. She then met Conrad Schupp and her next adventure in life began. In 2003, Donna and Conrad traveled to Alaska with her brother, Bruce, this being one of her favorite trips to Alaska. She enjoyed going on many camping trips with her grandchildren. She moved to Medford, where she had resided the last five years.
