Crashes with injuries Parking lot On August 2 at 10:09 a.m., vehicle operated by Susan Emmerich, 67, of Medford and a bicycle operated by Glenda Way, 50, of Medford, were traveling eastbound on Perkins St. in Medford. The vehicle operated by Emmerich was traveling behind the bicycle operated by Way. The vehicle operated by Emmerich struck the back of the bicycle operated by Way. The sheriff's department report notes that Emmerich indicated she observed the bicycle operated by Way but somehow still struck it. The reason for the collision was unclear. The sheriff's department sheriff's department reports states that Way complained of head and hip injuries and indicates Way sustained a suspected minor injury.

Hit and run

On August 5 at 1:52 p.m. a vehicle owned by Albert Leonard, 60, of Medford, was parked and unoccupied on Taylor St. Leonard noticed someone hit his side mirror, causing damage. The suspect is unknown.

Two vehicle crash

On July 31 at 1:05 p.m., a vehicle operated by Susan Will, 74, of Ogema, was navigating the roundabout on N 8th St and Allman. A vehicle operated by Joann Wild, 78, of Medford, entered the roundabout in front of the vehicle operated by Will. Will hit the breaks, but the vehicle operated by Will still struck the vehicle operated by Wild, causing minor damage to both vehicles.

On August 1 at 12:40 p.m., a motorcycle operated by Nickolas Edgerton, 17, of Phillips, was turning westbound onto CT Rd. O from Gibson Dr. Edgerton lost control due to road conditions and slid into the ditch on the north side of CT Rd. O. No injury was sustained.

Car vs deer

On August 2 at 7:55 p.m., a vehicle operated by Pang Yang, 24, of Medford, struck a deer while traveling westbound on STH 64 in the town of Goodrich.

On July 31 at 9:21 p.m., a vehicle operated by Samuel Krause, 25, of Bismarck, North Dakota, struck a deer while traveling southbound on STH 13 in the town of Chelsea.

On July 27 at 11:46 p.m., a vehicle operated by Mariah Ditusa, 32, of Medford, struck a deer while traveling eastbound on STH 64 in the town of Browning.

On July 26 at 12:15 p.m., a vehicle operated by Jason Wuorenma, 45, of Almena, struck a deer while traveling northbound on STH 73 in the town of Ford.

On July 25 at 9:45 a.m., a vehicle operated by Kassandra Viellieux, 34, of Greenwood, struck a deer while traveling eastbound on STH 64 in the town of Holway.

On July 24 at 6:49 p.m., a vehicle operated by Heather Bucki, 31, of Medford, struck a deer while traveling on Center Ave. in the town of Medford.

On August 5 at 5:08 p.m., a vehicle operated by Andrew Puissant, 21, of Shawano, was traveling east in the driving lane of the Walmart parking lot in Medford. A vehicle operated by Curtiss Erickson, 64, of Dorchester, was backing out of a parking stall and struck the vehicle operated by Puissant on the driver-side. Neither individual indicated injury had occurred during the crash. The vehicle operated by Puissant sustained minor damage. Puissant stated he was wearing a seatbelt during the crash. The vehicle operated by Erickson sustained damage to the rear bumper and rear driver-side wheel well trim. Erickson stated he was wearing a seatbelt during the crash. Both vehicles were drivable and were removed by the operators.

On August 5 at 5:10 p.m., a vehicle operated by Anthony Green, 41, of Muscatine, Iowa, was traveling south in the driving lane of the Walmart parking lot in Medford. A vehicle operated by Cynthia Boehlen, 65, of Medford, stopped as an uninvolved vehicle was parking out of a parking stall. The vehicle operated by Boehlen began to reverse to allow extra room for the uninvolved vehicle. Boehlen stated that she did not see the vehicle operated by Green while backup up. The vehicle operated by Boehlen struck the vehicle operated by Green on the passengerside front bumper. No occupants indicated any injury had occurred during the crash. The vehicle operated b Green sustained cosmetic damage to its bumper. Green indicated that he was concerned of possible transmission/ frame damage that he intended to have checked by a shop. Green stated he was wearing a seatbelt during the crash. Boehlen indicated that she was unsure if there had been any damage caused to the vehicle she operated due to the affected area having preexisting damage. Boehlen stated that she was wearing a seatbelt during the crash. Both vehicles were drivable and were removed by the operators.

TAYLOR COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

On July 31 at 10:58 p.m., a vehicle operated by Corrina Goetzka, 35, of Medford, was traveling northbound on STH 13. The sheriff's department report notes Goetzka had consumed the prescription medication Klonopin and was drowsy. Goetzka admitted to using methamphetamine a few days prior and had possession of a methamphetamine pipe. The vehicle operated by Goetzka drifted the right as it was traveling north on STH 13 through the village of Stetsonville. The vehicle operated by Goetzka struck the rear driver side corner of a legally parked vehicle owned by Dalton Waide next to the curb. The vehicle operated by Goetzka shot across traffic in a west-northwesterly direction, crossing the southbound traffic lane of STH 13 before coming to a stop in a private parking lot on the west side of STH 13. Goetzka sustained a suspected minor injury. Goetzka was issued citations for operating while under the influence, operating while suspended, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

WHICH WAS A LEGALLY PARKED VEHICLE NEXT TO THE CURB. UNIT # 1 SHOT ACROSS TRAFFIC SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC LANE OF STH 13 BEFORE COMING TO A STOP IN A PRIVATE PARKING
