It’s a rare classroom which hosts science and physical education classes. Preston Gingras helped make a better one this spring by organizing improvements to the woods trail and disc golf course east of the Medford Area School District track and athletic field complex. Gingras worked with Dave Makovsky on the improvements. The district already had eight holes laid out, but Gingras added a ninth, as well as mulch, signage and other efforts.
“This spring was a challenge. We couldn’t get to work on the project because of the snow until May,” Gingras said.
