Writer says new blood needed on county board

Attention Veterans of Taylor, not sure of how many of you read The Star News from last week (February 16, 2023 )?
Well, it is hard to accept that we have lost another Veteran’s Service officer that makes two in less than a year.
Because everything is controlled by the County Board of Supervisors, they are the ones that are making things so difficult for our Veterans Service officer? If they don’t like you then the battle has only begun, and they will find a way of getting rid of you?
It is time that there really needs to be term limits on all county employees, including the County Board. The chairman of the County Board isn’t even a veteran so what has he got to say about what concerns Veterans?
He needs to be removed and get some fresh members in there, tell him to mind his own business. There should also be a limit of the number of boards that you can occupy at one time. He is definitely on too many committees, roughly 15 committees and his control needs to be put in place. He doesn’t own the county, so why does he have so much control?
I know without a doubt that he isn’t going to like this but people are getting fed up with all his so-called control. He put pressure on the individuals by creating mistrust, deception, and cause problem among the two employees that work in this office.
Veterans need to know that these people are here to help you in every way possible, you have put your time in, you served to protect this country, why let him tell you what you can do and can’t do. Like I said earlier he isn’t even a Veteran.
