Chorale Celebrates 50th Season Jubilee
The Central Chamber Chorale celebrates its 50th Season Jubilee with orchestral accompaniment of several choral pieces. In the first half of the concert the Chorale performs “Arise Your Light Has Come” and Ola Geilo’s “Across the Vast, Eternal Sky” with orchestra. The acapella rendition of “The Lord’s Prayer” is dedicated to long Chorale member Marjorie Retzer of Medford. The first half concludes with the “Jubilate Deo” of Dan Forrest to ring in the 50th season Jubilee with orchestra. After intermission, the Chorale will perform “Tree of Life,” a meditative composition and Morten Lauridsen’s requiem “Lux Aeterna” with orchestra.
