Cadott’s girls basketball program finished out the regular season on the road, Feb. 20, at Gilman, in a league crossover match.

The game was one of back-and-forth, with Gilman leading by three points at the end of the first half, but Cadott was determined and pulled ahead in the second half, to take the win, 61-55.

Leading for the Hornets, was junior Taylor Hager, with 19 points, 6 assists and 5 steals, followed by senior Kasey Moldrem, with 9 points, while junior Kennedy Nerdrum was right behind, with 8 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman Sophie Kowalczyk added 8 rebounds to the mix and senior McKenna Steinke had 7.

Cadott finishes the season with a 10-14 record overall and 3-9 in the West Cloverbelt Conference. They now look ahead to Regional action, in the hopes to advance onward in the playoffs.
