Cadott hits the bullseye with successful tourney

In their 12th year, the Cadott archery program hosted a tournament, Feb. 15, with 10 schools attending. At the end of the day, the Hornets walked away with many personal bests and some high scores.

“The tournament was a huge success, with 488 archers shooting in the tournament,” said coach Scott Christenson.

Taking the highest score for Cadott and third place for boys, was sophomore Gabe Dohms, with a score of 285. Sophomore Jada Loken and junior Dani Sikora followed that with 282, while junior Logan LaNou had 281. Junior Alexa Gindt came next, with 279, and junior Zakary Hladilek and sophomore Isaac Wellner were right behind, scoring 278.

Senior Brooklyn Hrdlicka ended the day with a score of 277, while sophomore Payton Pederson and senior Mozelle Walthers each scored 274. Junior Myka McCullough followed that up with 273, as did sophomore Max Demulling and junior Gavin Roscoe.

Freshman Kaylee Stai came after that, with 271, with freshman Carter Slagle, junior Gabe Sikora and eighth grader Jayden Bauer also scoring 271. Junior Mary Walthers and senior Adrianna Goodman both scored 270.
