Myla Mallak and Cheyenne Keller were all-around group champions for the Rainbow Gymnastics Club of Medford during the Antigo Twisters Invite held Feb. 1-2.

Mallak won the Level 3 Junior A grouping, which featured three Rainbow gymnasts. Mallak earned 37.0 all-around points in the four events, while Tinley Hamm was second with 36.55 and Camren Frahmann was fourth with 34.2.

Mallak won the uneven bars with a 9.45, won the floor exercise with a 9.3 and tied Hamm for first on the balance beam as both had 9.35. Mallak was fifth on the vault with an 8.9.

Hamm tied for first on the vault with a 9.2, took second on floor at 9.2 and was third on the bars with an 8.8. Frahmann got a 9.1 on vault to place third, was fourth on the floor with an 8.4, took fifth on bars at 8.5 and tied for fifth on the beam with an 8.2.

In the Level 3 Child A grouping, Keller topped six other gymnasts with a total score of 36.9 for the meet. She won the bars with a 9.7, tied for first on the vault at 9.2 and was second on the floor with a 9.1 She was second on the beam with an 8.9. Rainbow’s Cayden Mayer was fifth with an overall total of 34.8. She was third on the bars with a 9.0, tied for third on the floor with another 9.0, was fifth on the beam at 8.3 and tied for fifth on vault with an 8.5.

Zarianna De La Cruz nearly won the Junior B group in Level 3. Her all-around score was 36.2, just behind Taelyn Peper of Hub City Gymnastics of Marshfield (36.35). De La Cruz tied for first on the bars (9.45), tied for second on floor (8.95) was third on the vault (9.3) and seventh out of nine girls on the beam (8.5). Amiyah Burrier tied for seventh with 35.6 all-around points. She was third on the floor with her 8.95, fourth on the beam (8.95), seventh on vault (9.0) and eighth on the bars (8.7).

In Level 2, ages nine and up, Rainbow’s Elizabeth Brandt (36.8), Annabel Bacholl (36.55) and Madison Baird (36.35) were second, third and fourth all-around behind Hub City’s Lydia Berg (37.0). Brandt won the bars (9.6) and beam (9.1). She was third on vault at 9.3 and fourth on floor at 8.8. Bacholl was second on the vault with a 9.4 and third on bars (9.45), floor (8.9) and beam (8.8). Baird was second on floor (9.05) and beam (8.85) and fourth on bars (9.25) and vault (9.2).

For ages 8 and under in Level 2, Scarlett Bartnik and Cassidy Peterson were fourth and fifth all-around with totals of 36.75 and 35.9. Bartnik tied for first on the floor with a 9.3, tied for second on bars with a 9.7, took fourth on vault with a 9.4 and was sixth on beam at 8.35. Peterson was part of that three-way tie on bars with a 9.7, was fifth with 8.6s on floor and beam and was sixth on the vault with a 9.0.
