Lake Holcombe back in action after a week off

The Lake Holcombe archery program was in action, Jan. 25, on the road at Thorp, for a shoot, after they had the previous weekend off.

Freshman Andrea Friedman placed highest for the Chieftains, scoring 276, while junior Logan Jaedike followed that up with 269 and junior Brody Miller shot for 251. Sophomore Trevor Tripp came next, with 248, followed by senior MacKenzie Bera, who scored 247, and seventh grader Logan Hoffner, who had a score of 240.

Following that, seventh grader Dylon Richards had a score of 235, while sophomore Donovan Bera scored 234 and sophomore Austin McGinnis followed that with 233.

It was a no contest win, Jan. 23, for Cadott’s girls basketball program, at home, with conference opponent Thorp. The Hornets blew by Thorp in the first half, taking a 28-point lead into the break and ended the game with a 69-44 victory....

Nock Busters compete at Thorp, to gain experience

Cornell’s archery program was on the road to Thorp, Jan. 25, for a shoot, leaving with a couple personal bests under their belts. Taking top honors, was senior Izzy Schwingle, with a score of 271, followed by sophomore Jac Wilson, with 262. Freshman Spencer Schwingle came next, with a score of 285, as did sophomore Kyleigh Mercer....
