Hornets can’t overcome opponents in road games

Cadott had a rough time on the road over the week, for the boys basketball program, dropping both the games to their foes.

Jan. 24 vs. Bloomer conference (L 89-53)

First up, Cadott faced off with Bloomer, who usually proves a challenge and did so again, this time around. The Hornets fought throughout the game, but in the end, Bloomer claimed the win, 89-53.

Senior Braden Schneider led for Cadott, with 15 points, followed by seniors Cameron Allard and Jackson Barone, with 12 points each.

Jan. 27 vs. Abbotsford non-conference (L 92-75)

After the weekend off, the Hornets were in action against Abbotsford, which was a high-scoring affair, but went to the home team, 92-75.

Allard racked up 24 points in the match-up, with Schneider right behind, with 21. Barone came next, with 11 points, while junior Aiden Rykal had 10, and seniors Parker Davis and Blane Mengel, and junior Asher Sikora all added 3 points.
