Hornets take a win out of three while traveling

Cadott’s boys basketball program played on the road, for a trio of games over the week, picking up a win along the way.
Jan. 7 vs. McDonell conference (L 83-54)
The Hornets were at McDonell, to begin the week, but offense wasn’t there for Cadott, while the home team could not be stopped. At the end, the Macks claimed the win, 83-54.
Senior Braden Schneider racked up 18 points in the match-up.
Jan. 10 vs. Regis conference (L 78-45)
A few days later, the Hornets were on the road at Regis, but again, offensive woes led to Cadott conceding the bout to the Ramblers, 78-45.
Schneider led the way with 10 points, followed by senior Cameron Allard. Seniors Parker Davis and Blane Mengel, and junior Collin Kowalczyk all contributed 6 points, while senior Jackson Barone added 4. Junior Aiden Rykal followed that up with 3 points, with junior Asher Sikora chipping in with 1.
Jan. 13 vs. Boyceville non-conference (W 76-49)
Finally, coming off the weekend, Cadott traveled to Boyceville, taking a big win over the competition, 76-49.
Again leading the way, was Schneider, with 19 points, while Allard had 14. Barone followed that up with 10 points, with Mengel right behind, with 9, and Sikora coming next, with 8. Davis added 5 points to the mix, while Kowalczyk chipped in with 3.
