High score leads to win for Cadott over Cornell

With the temperatures warming up outside, it was also heating up on the court, as Cadott played host to Cornell, Dec. 5, for a boys basketball non-conference match-up.
The Hornets took a dominating 32-point lead into halftime over Cornell and the second half was much the same, as the Chiefs’ offense could not get going. In the end, Cadott claimed the win, 95-36.
For the Hornets, senior Braden Schneider captured an impressive 37 points, while senior Cameron Allard had 14, followed closely by senior Jackson Barone, with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Senior Blane Mengel added 4 points to the mix and 11 rebounds.
On Cornell’s side, senior Hunter Anders led with 8 points, with sophomore Wesley Smith right behind, with 7. Senior Preston Fredrickson and junior Grady Abbott each chipped in with 6 points, while sophomore Bryce DeJongh had 5 and junior Zech Schmidt finished with 4 points.
