Stratford senior quarterback Jack Tubbs was selected to the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) Small School All-State team on offense this season after leading the Tigers to a WIAA Division 5 state championship and undefeated 14-0 record.

Tubbs played in every game this season and completed 153 of 196 pass attempts for a 78 percent completion. He threw for 2,361 yards with 26 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Tubbs also ran the football 112 times for 734 yards. He scored 13 rushing touchdowns while also running for two successful two-point conversions.

He was also selected to the WFCA Region 2 Small school team as a quarterback this season. Tubbs was awarded Offensive Player of the Year in the Central Wisconsin Large (CWC-Large) and first team allconference at quarterback. His father, Stratford head coach Jason Tubbs, was awarded CWC-Large Coach of the Year again this season. Jason Tubbs will coach the North Small team in the WFCA All-Star Game on Saturday, July 19, at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh. Players can be nominated in January for the WFCA All-Star Game.

Stratford senior Carter Lueck was awarded WFCA Small School honorable mention All-State on both sides of the football as an offensive lineman and defensive end. He was also selected to the WFCA Region 2 small school team as an offensive lineman and defensive end. Lueck received first team All-CWC-Large Conference as an offensive and defensive lineman for the second straight season.

Tigers senior free safety Alec Chapel was selected as Co-Defensive Player of the Year in the CWC-Large with senior linebacker Boone Schairer of Wittenberg-Birnamwood this season. Chapel had 148 tackles and four interceptions this year. Chapel also received first team All-CWC Large on both sides of the football at defensive back and tight end. He was awarded to the WFCA Region 2 small school team at both defensive back and tight end/full back.

Stratford senior Walker Weis was awarded first team All-CWC Large as an offensive lineman for the second straight season. He received first team All-CWC Large as a defensive lineman for the first time this season.

Tigers senior Jett Schoenherr received first team All-CWC Large on both sides of the football as a wide receiver and defensive back this season. He also was awarded to the WFCA Region 2 small See FOOTBALL POSTSEASON HONORS/ page 11

Tigers junior Brooks Vanderhoof garnered second team All-CWC Large on both sides of the football at running back and linebacker this season. Stratford junior offensive lineman Drew Gage received second team All-CWC Large as an offensive lineman this year. Tigers senior linebacker Xander Curtice and junior wide receiver Coltan Breit received honorable mention All-CWC Large this season. Jack Tubbs was awarded honorable mention All-CWC Large as a defensive back.

Raiders are all-conference

Marathon senior punter Cody Radtke was awarded second team All-CWC Large on defense this season. Red Raiders junior defensive backs Cale Quaintance and Landon Sneider received honorable mention All-CWC Large this season. Marathon quarterback True Thurs and sophomore wide receiver Garrett Bracewell also garnered honorable mention All-CWC Large this season.

Wildcats receive recognition

Edgar head football coach Jerry Sinz was awarded Marawood Conference Coach of the Year again this season.

Sinz has the most career wins among active coaches now that Bob Hyland, longtime head coach at Fond du Lac St. Mary’s Springs, has retired. Hyland has a football career coaching record of 522 wins, 118 losses and two ties. Sinz has a football career coaching record of 483 wins and 93 losses after leading the Wildcats to backto- back WIAA Division 7 state championships.

Edgar senior receiver Leyton Schuett was named first team All-Marawood Conference for the third straight season. He was a unanimous first team all-conference selection this year. Schuett now holds Edgar school football records in career receptions with 65 and career receiving yards with 1,183. He was also selected to the WFCA Region 2 small school team at wide receiver this season.

Wildcats senior Fletcher Weiland garnered first team All-Marawood Conference as an offensive lineman this season after receiving second team all-conference last season and honorable mention allconference as a sophomore.

Edgar senior inside linebacker Ty Schnelle was awarded unanimous first team All-Marawood Conference as an inside linebacker this season while also garnering first team all-conference as an offensive lineman. Schnelle also was selected to the WFCA Region 2 small school team as an inside linebacker this year.

Wildcats junior Tucker Streit was a unanimous first team All-Marawood Conference defensive back this season after garnering second team all-conference last season. Streit was also named to the WFCA Small school team as a defensive back this year.

Edgar senior defensive lineman Corey Koeppl and senior outside linebacker Will Hackel were awarded first team All-Marawood Conference this season. Koeppl and Hackel also were named to the WFCA small school team this year.

Edgar junior defensive back Gavin Mauer, junior full back/tight end Lucas Stahnke and running back Maverick Butt each received first team All-Marawood Conference this season.

The following Wildcats garnered honorable mention All-Marawood Conference this season: Seniors offensive lineman Colby Schwoerer, senior wide receiver Austin Schreiber, senior defensive end Dakota Ellenbecker and junior linebacker Alex Schneider.

Bluejays are all-conference

Athens junior eight-man football player Evin Passehl was awarded second team All-Northwoods East Conference on both offense and defense this season. He received honorable mention at running back on the All-CWC East team last season.

Bluejays senior Gavin Glenn received honorable mention All-Northwoods East Conference on defense this season after receiving first team All-CWC East as a defensive lineman last season.

Athens sophomore Daxton Diethelm was awarded honorable mention All-Northwoods East Conference on offense this season after receiving honorable mention All-CWC East as a defensive back last season.

Bluejays senior Kyle Schreiner garnered honorable mention All-Northwoods East on defense this season.
