Cornell’s lack of scoring leads to a McDonell win

By Ginna Young

It’s never easy to play a powerhouse like McDonell, but with homefield advantage, Cornell’s football program was on their toes Sept. 27. Coming off their best game of the year, the previous week, the Chiefs came up with 10 first downs over the Macks, as well as completing 23 rushes.

They also had 68 passing yards and 2 sacks to their credit, but could never manage to cross the goal line, while McDonell racked up 51 points, to take the shutout win.

Cornell is now 0-5 on the season and 0-3 in the conference.
