Cornell can’t topple a dominant Gilman squad

Heading to Gilman, for a Sept. 13 game, the Cornell football program was aware it would be a high-scoring game, for a good reason.
“Gilman is the No. 2 team in the state,” said coach Chad Spegal.
Although the Chiefs were unable to score over Gilman in the match-up, neither did they have any interceptions, but did record three fumbles. Cornell had 54 yards on the night, in the 75-0 loss.
“The kids played hard,” said Spegal.
