Chieftains drop to Macks

To begin conference action, the Lake Holcombe football program was on the road at McDonell, for a match-up Sept. 5.

“It was a tough one again,” said coach John Stender. “We’re so young.”

The Chieftains fought hard , but had some players go down with injuries, which hampered their scoring efforts and the Macks capitalized, taking a 65-0 victory.

“We’re gonna keep building, I think,” said Stender.
