Senior basketball All-Star players

Tyler Underwood and Grant Warren of Marathon scored eight points each for the Division 4 Black team in the annual Wisconsin Basketball Coaches’ Association (WBCA) senior boys allstar game on June 27 at JustAGame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells.

The Black lost to the White, 123-108. Austin Hohn of Pardeevile led the Black squad with 21 points after making seven three pointers. Eight players on the White team scored double-digit points. Jaxon Hilton of Unity paced the White squad with 18 points.

Tyler Fischer of Randolph was the Black team’s head coach and Tyler Peterson of Whitehall coached the White squad.

Athens girls all-star

Sophia Coker of Athens scored eight points for the Division 5 North team in the WBCA senior girls all-star game on June 26 at JustAGame Fieldhouse. The North lost to the South, 78-52.

Mackenzie Tarman of Turtle Lake led the North with 12 points. Coryn Fromm of Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah paced the South with 29 points after making five three pointers. She was the only South player to scored doubledigit points.
