MARAWOOD CONFERENCE INDOOR

Olivia Lopez scored in all four of her events, Isabelle Gumz scored in three and Jed Henderson won the boys high jump, highlighting some of the solid individual performances Rib Lake had in Monday’s Marawood Conference Indoor Track and Field Invitational, held at UW-Stevens Point.

Lopez won the girls triple jump, took second in the long jump and placed in the 60- and 200-meter sprints to account for 27 of Rib Lake’s 43 points in the girls meet. The Redmen placed ninth out of the 12 conference teams, beating Auburndale (38.5), Chequamegon (34.5) and Prentice (14).

The boys took fifth on their side of the standings, scoring 39 points and beating sixth-place Abbotsford by one point. Outside of Henderson’s win, the Redmen did most of their damage in distance running events.
